There are plenty of opportunities for staff to get involved in life at Lonsdale, from joining college events and celebrations to enjoying a catch-up over a coffee. Whether you’re getting involved in one of our annual traditions, joining a social event or simply popping along to see what’s happening, there are lots of ways to be part of the Lonsdale community. Make a difference

Staff have the opportunity to help shape the way Lonsdale operates and contribute to the decisions that affect College life. There are also regular opportunities to get involved in projects, events and initiatives, whether that’s using your existing skills or trying something new outside your usual role. Staff representatives can also contribute to College Management Committee and College Syndicate, helping to shape the wider direction of the College.

Staff Quiz

Fancy putting your random knowledge to the test? The Staff Quiz brings colleagues from across the University together for some friendly competition, plenty of laughs and a chance to get to know people from across the nine colleges.

Think more pub quiz than University Challenge, teams can confer, so there’s no need to be a trivia expert! Whether you’re a quiz master or just in it for the fun, it’s a relaxed way to meet colleagues, show off those random facts you’ve been saving for the right moment and enjoy a bit of friendly competition.
