Primary Schools (Key Stage 2)

While The Ruskin is closed, we'll visit you at your school.

Inspired by John Ruskin’s art and ideas, our creative workshop John Ruskin: Art and Nature encourages Key Stage 2 pupils to look closely, see clearly and imagine freely. The workshop is free to schools in Lancashire and Cumbria.

Linked to the local landscape, coastline, and contemporary environmental issues, the session is designed and delivered by The Ruskin as part of the Morecambe Bay Curriculum.

University Teaching

The Ruskin Whitehouse Collection is a rich resource for exploring issues in fields ranging from material and data science to heritage and futures studies, and for engaging with arts-based and interdisciplinary research methods.

We work with colleagues from across Lancaster University to contribute to teaching, and welcome enquires to explore opportunities for collaboration.
