College Manager

Olivia Harvey is the College Manager and is based in Lonsdale full-time. She’s here to help with anything connected to college life, whether you need advice, support, or just a friendly chat.

Outside of work, Olivia loves dogs, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends. She’s also a big foodie who enjoys discovering new places to eat. When she’s not out exploring or trying a new dish, you might find her at the theatre, hiking up a mountain, or getting lost in a good murder mystery.

Accommodation Manager

Louise Lawless is the Accommodation Manager responsible for Lonsdale accommodation. You can go and see Louise about anything accommodation related, or just for a chat. Louise is in the college every weekday during office hours.

Outside of work Louise is a very keen cook, with a particular passion for Indian food. She also enjoys walking, foraging, and spending time with her husband and three grown-up children. She is also a lover of cats, having three kitties of her own and also adores dogs.

College Dean

Julian Morris is the Dean for Lonsdale College. The Dean is the senior disciplinary officer of the College, responsible for investigating alleged breaches of university or college rules. They are also a key point of support for students, offering guidance and help when challenges arise.

You may see Julian around campus in his other role as Mental Health Practitioner.

Senior Advisor

Ella Taylor is the Senior Advisor, leading the College Advisory team (CAT). If you have any concerns - either academic or personal - you can contact the team by emailing lonsdalewelfare@lancaster.ac.uk at any time and they will aim to reply within three working days.

You may see Ella around on campus in her other role as CEDA Programmes Officer. Outside of work, Ella loves going on holidays, spending time with her golden retriever, Honey, and exploring new walking routes. In her downtime, Ella enjoys cooking and watching TV shows. She is passionate about supporting students and is always happy to chat if you need advice or guidance.
