The focus of research in the Social/Human Domain Theme is to develop applications to and study the interaction with the Society and individual people. Social and Human behaviour is nowadays a source of data streams and can be studied in ways never imagined before. But equally the ultimate goal of advances in intelligent, robotic and autonomous systems area is to benefit the Society as a whole, as well as individual people and therefore, this complex interaction, is a two-way process. The research in these themes will be closely aligned with the Institue of Social Futures.
