The University Post Office will be closed from 5pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 19 January 2026. During this period, all Post Office services including parcel drop-off and collection will be unavailable.

Important information during the closure:

• Urgent university mail must be dropped off by Monday 22 December at 3pm to ensure it is processed before the closure.
• Services such as DPD and Amazon drop-offs and collections will be unavailable after 3pm on Tuesday 23 December. Please consider using the Amazon lockers on campus.
• Any mail must be collected from the Post Office by 5pm on Tuesday 23 December, or after reopening on Monday 19 January.
• We strongly advise using alternative local Post Offices for any delivery or collection services during the closure. You can find nearby branches using the Post Office Branch Finder tool.

On reopening on Monday 19 January, the Post Office will have relocated to ReStore Lancaster, access will be via the shop entrance on Alexandra Square (next to Costa Coffee).

Opening hours will be Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5pm.
