There are 128 self-contained studios on campus for undergraduates that prefer a more independent way of living.
There are 64 self-contained studios in Graduate College for postgraduates that prefer a more independent way of living. There are also eight twin studios for couples.
Applicants should note that there are no communal areas in these buildings, and as such are advised to consider carefully before applying.
Single studios cost £241.36 per week, on a 40 or 50 week contract.
The twin studios cost £273.28, on a 40 or 50 week contract.
Single studios are fitted with a bed (with under bed storage), desk and chair, wardrobe, drawers and bookshelves. There is also a small dining table and two chairs.
The beds measure approximately 1200mm wide by 1900mm in length.
The kitchenette comes complete with a combination oven/microwave/grill and two hob rings. There is also a sink, a fridge with a freezer box in the top of it, and a kettle supplied.
Your en suite contains a shower, washbasin and WC.
An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are shared between the other apartments in your flat.
Twin studios are much bigger and have two single beds that may be zipped together to create a large double if required.
The single beds measure 900mm wide by 1900mm in length.
There is more desk space and two chairs, plus two wardrobes, drawers and bookshelves.
